The official release of the CO2 calculator for Scope 3 emissions reporting for logistics service providers (LSP) from eCRM data.

This concept allows LSP's to effortlessly compute CO2 emissions, filter them by customer, download them as a report, and present them to the customer. This tool was developed with the consultation of Smart Freight Center expert Mr. Marcus Lomax, under the GLEC Framework and ISO 14083 standard. A big thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule. Would eFTI4EU and eFTI4ALL consider including one more parameter (CO2 footprint) in eFTI data via eCMR?

Simultaneously, tool serves as an eCMR tool, developed according to the UNECE standard. It was tested with the PoC of the Finnish/Estonian eFTI platform and eFTI Gate, which is capable of sending eCMR data to the eFTI platform and receiving requests from it.

Additionally, it includes the feature of customizable (by customer) CSV import for automated multiple eCMR generation, tested with Finnish customers.

The PoC of the product is complete. A big thank you to field expert Ieva Markuceviciute-Vincke for the idea to render the carbon footprint on eCMR. EU Horizon Admiral project for the idea funding. Special thanks to researcher and product development lead Simonas Niedvaras and the large team of development professionals: Petras Bieliauskas, Iryna Simanionak, Rimante Pomeckyte, Jonas Slivka, Rytis Rudelis, Darius Kuzminas, Patrycjus August Sinkewicz, Vytautas Antanavicius, Aidas Bieliauskas, Rolandas Prunskas, and Giedrius Tusinskis.

The PoC is complete, but CargoSign is seeking partnerships to increase calculation accuracy by implementing primary data retrieval tools. The company also aims to expand calculations to include consolidated shipments, last-mile deliveries, and milk runs.
