On June 9, the city of Tallinn hosted a dynamic event organized by Caas Nordic, bringing together key players from across the Baltic Sea region. The goal was to foster closer cooperation and explore joint solutions for building freight transport corridors that are more efficient, sustainable, and digitalized.

The first half of the event featured insightful presentations from representatives of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, each sharing their national progress in transport digitalization. Representing Lithuania, Ieva Markucevičiūtė-Vinckė from MC Baltic and Jurgis Adomavičius, Chairman of the Transport Innovation Association, showcased innovative digital solutions that have the potential to significantly reduce border formalities—a key step toward seamless cross-border logistics.

In the second half, participants came together for a collaborative brainstorming session focused on how to leverage upcoming EU funding opportunities and strengthen international partnerships.

The Transport Innovation Association was well represented by Dr. Miglė Panasenkienė, Head of International Projects, who actively contributed to the discussions. TIA members Rytis Rudelis (Cargo Sign) and Maksim Greckin (Aurida Logistics Solutions) also took part, bringing valuable insights and energy to the event.

This gathering underscored the region’s shared commitment to building smarter, greener, and more connected transport networks—an exciting step forward for the future of logistics in the Baltic Sea area.
